    I mean, I've already paid for the powdercoat and now that'll get fucked with the repair. Is there any real way of checking the rest out? 853 isn't exactly bombproof.

    As for it being dialed, probably just coincidence, def need a shorter stem!

    where's the crack? if it is directly under the slot at the seat binder and straight you can quite easily/safely cut a slot down then drill a hole at the end. You need a long seatpost to extend a couple of inches below this though to make sure that you aren't going to put stress on that area.
