I would have it repaired.
Also check diameters of both seatpost and seat tube.
The bike looks nicely dialed, not always an easy thing to do.

I'm just concerned that I might be putting even more cash into something that might already be beyond its best - at risk of failing elsewhere.
I mean, I've already paid for the powdercoat and now that'll get fucked with the repair. Is there any real way of checking the rest out? 853 isn't exactly bombproof.
