Why coffee when they can put up product for sales that'll earn them more profit than a merecoffee?
Exactly. £2.50 for a coffee is ridiculous. I can go online to Ocado and buy the ingredients for a cup of coffee for much less than that. It doesn't take the barista in Pret more than a minute to make the coffee, which means that Pret baristas are earning £150 per hour, which is way too much. They should be on the minimum wage, and my coffee should therefore cost 10p.
And one time I went to Pret I ordered a skinny latte, and they gave me a full-fat cap. Since then I've made it my life's work never to enter another place selling coffees, but instead to suggest to all and sundry that they should turn themselves into bike shops.
