  • I did take measurements at the start. Guess I should take some more and see if anything has happened. I'm naturally pretty muscly and active so it's not like I was doing nothing before starting this.

Ideally I'd like to crack 69.something kgs. I can't remember the last time (if ever) I weighed in the 69s.
I'd also like to be able to do some chin ups and, well just be quite ripped. ** I've got a tri in 6 weeks and haven't really don't any training for it **so this 30 day blast was supposed to help with that.

I'm off to Bratislava next weekend and I dare say there will be a fair bit of stodge and beer involved.

If you're training for a Tri, you should be doing exactly that rather than nutty diets and weird regimens.

In this short period you should really just be looking at training very specifically for the event, rather than spending time doing weird accessory work IMO.

This is only my 2p, but to me it seems like eating clean and putting the hours in (including getting enough sleep) just makes a lot more sense. Don't eat too much sugar at the wrong times, don't eat too many carbs where not needed, eat loads of veg, don't booze too much but don't lose your mind over it.

As I say, just my opinion and only you know what works or doesn't for you.
