Doing some fixing up of a friend's inappropriate racer and am looking for a few cheap but not knackered parts - let me know if anyone has any! Budget is important but as is reliability, so nothing really fancy or rubbish required.
Straight or riser bars - middling width, 26 or 25.4 clamp size, silver
Brake levers for the above - running front and rear
Thumb shifter for 6 speed rear derailleur - I've just bought a shimano RX35 derailleur unit but the shifter on the bike is knackered. I need something that can be mounted on the bars, I think a friction shifter would be fine or a 6 speed indexed. Anyone got anything?
