Is it time to start calling out bad cyclists?

Got called out by a pedestrian today for failing to give way to him.

Was coming to the end of Saville row(riding in the middle) going to turn left onto Vigo st. Pedestrian on the right(walking in the road along parked cars) looks straight at me then steps out anyway. As I was moving away from him another pedestrian steps out from behind a van to my left, we see each other in time to not crash but stop right next to each other. I choose to ignore this and carry on but he grabs me by the arm and points to the give way markings at the end of saville row, and tells me I should have given way to him.
Did I do something wrong?

Take extra care at junctions. You should

watch out for pedestrians crossing a road into which you are turning. If they have started to cross they have priority, so give way

and regarding this:-

Peds have priority on the road over cyclist/cars etc

Remember that if another human steps into the road in front of your bike, and don't call him/her a cunt

only if you are entering a turning, any moron who thinks it's ok to just walk out in front of moving traffic definitely deserves to be called a cunt. [ref: tooting high street, every fucking time.]
