Anyone on here ever have a ligament injury they've recovered from? I managed to rupture two and sprain one, one (MCL) has been repaired through surgery and the surgeon is debating whether another operation would be a good idea after I've completed rehab. So for the last few months alongside my physio I've been riding a single speed Brompton slowly, and doing some gym work wearing a knee brace. That's all manageable, but I have my two proper bikes sitting there looking forlorn and dusty... I suspect the geared road bike shouldn't pose too many problems as long as I'm careful to keep in relatively spiny gears, but I'm not sure about my track bike - the ligaments that are still damaged are the cruciates, and I'm a little concerned that the forces created by riding fixed will stress them... I don't plan to ride it without my knee brace, but even then I'm a bit uncertain. Anyway, anyone else ever have ligament injuries they came back from?
