Finished project but I don't think I ever posted it on here. So no excuse really except for the sunny weather to take some pictures of it.

HOOOOOLY nice.
Is that a titanium stem, or just anodised?
Monochrome ftw. -

After um-ing and ah-ing I've opted to raw my Graham Weigh track.
I've got most of it done by hand (paint was impervious to nitromors...), but could really do with borrowing a dremel type thing for the last bits.
Does anyone have anything? -

Trying to make the most important decision of all for my TF Frame..
Paint.

I really like this colourwayBut somethings telling me to keep it black like the dart is naturally but with either full colour decals, or just a coloured outline for decals (dont want black on black, its not going to be a full black build)

^ how far are you in the custom process? Details?

Naaaaaaa that paint looks boss.

could you get it lugged or fillet brazed?
-
• #75816
Not very far, I just want to get the stuff I need to sort out the way so I can get it all sent off ASAP.
Basically going to be a dart with a less agressive riding position, taller headtube, and a slightly larger clearance on the rear, cable routing for the rear is in debate, not entirely sure on that yet.
Don't want lugs, and I have no idea what the differance in fillet brazing would be?
and Jake which one is boss?

^The road rocket with enve forks.

On a modern frame neat welds > brazing imo.
I know people don't like them, but unused cable guides look better than clip style, or electrical tape. So I'd future proof. My Condor has them on the bottom nds of the toptube and they aren't noticeable. At some point I'll be putting a rear brake on, so I'm glad they're there.
I would go for a different colour as well.Just get something fairly timeless if you're planning on keeping the frame.EDIT: actually I think a high gloss very black black* is better with coloured decals. It will look good with silver or black parts. IMO something like the link you posted requires black components more than black.

Thers not a huge range of options on the TF Frames to keep the costs down for everyone I imagine.

Enve forks would be a dream. maybe one day I'll be able to afford.

Is that a titanium stem, or just anodised?
It's just anodised, the tone is a little darker than titanium.

^^ so you can only have black, white, black stroke, or white stroke decals?
In that case I would go with white stroke. If you can have custom pink ones like these then I'd chose that (or orange).
In any event, of the colours shown in that pdf, I'd still go gloss black.
I think if you ask nicely/pay some more you can get the decals in any colour.
Im considering black and orangey decals, and a CK mango headset,
little bit of colour, will be black bars/stem/seatpost/saddle, silver cranks, not sure on wheels.
