My steel track frame (non-dart) has the same. Think it's to aid chain clearance?

Yup, resolved!
The Dart's track ends have that non-symmetrical profile to aid chain clearance and give you the space to run big cogs. Hope that helps!

Thanks. Got the same response from TFG . Could've figured that out myself, just thought it looked a bit tacky.
Got one a few weeks back and it's been in the box since awaiting funds for the remaining parts. I just noticed a dimple in the drive side chain/seatstay. The spacing is still a perfect 120mm and there is no damage to the paint or anything. Anyone here got a Dart and can have a quick look at theirs? Just curious if they're made like this in production or if mine has been damaged.
Not meant to put people off. Great frame and value at £300. Just a bit worrying as the non driveside stays looks perfect in comparison.
Awaiting response from TF as well.
Thanks.
