Also, even with all this airmesh stuff the big boys try and put out, on a hot day you will not be able to stop your back sweating with any bag,
It's a carry concern really, despite being not a great deal bigger, pound for pound, a backpack tends to carry more. If you only want the bare essentials and enjoy single strap bags, then the mini messenger is for you.
Both are made here from British materials by a cyclist (me) though!
