I also had a really good time, have never done it before and was amazed how quickly I was building up my confidence going round. Will definitely be back despite the commute from Hackney! Certainly going to be getting some padded pants though...ow!

Will be busy with polo/bespoked the next few weekends but hoping to make it after that! (will be coming from Hackney too)

Similarly not able to do next couple of Sundays - I might try and get down to Monday night race training when I can - tried it a few times last year, and once I embraced my slowness I really enjoyed it.

I'm going to start coming down once i've got my bike sorted. so nearly there just a couple more bits to get and then it can be built up. Will probably take another month, so look forward to seeing everyone down there then, and hope the weather will have picked up by then too!

Great session today. Great weather. Fun lap chases, photo finish stacking and doing all the things Saturday sessions don't get to do. :-) thanks Herne Hill!

Oooh - I think I might have been in your group (on the basis that our stacking was definite photo finish!).

Are the sessions running 5-7pm now?

Yes 5-7pm.
I will be a sunday regular, once I have got the Swimathon out of the way.

Who's up for a little novice racing on Saturday?
-
• #38
I am =)
just had another look at the link and there will be a women's keirin! should be really good fun if there's a bunch of us ~ -

Good! I got annihilated tonight at race training, anything that doesn't involve riding with boys young enough to be my children and fit enough to lap me would be nice,

Wimping out of novice racing ... it's been a long week.
Had a great time today (first time ever on track), thanks so much! 2 hours just flew by. I'm looking forward to being able to feel my toes next time, brrrr! :)
