For those, of course, its completely absurd.. But a good pair of properly made argyle hose (knee-socks) will cost a good 100 Quid.
These, for example,
are 135 GBP and better quality (not that those are not excellent) can cost toward 200 Quid.. and then custom....
these are now 230 GBP.
(hose has really gone up over the past few years)
