Yes 2011 was something.
A Sunny picnic on the grass
Tinnies
Messing around with vintage polo bikes
Colourful bike jumble bargains
And some bike racing I think -

I live about a 10 minute ride away from hh, and the sun was just shining brightly through the clouds which has given me some hope for tomorrow, chance of rain according to BBC is 40% with highs of 5C with 12mph winds

I've had an email telling me that:
(a) The sun will shine all day
(b) The racing will be great
I'm just up the road in SE23 but have no more detailed knowledge than the usual BBC forecast which says "rather cloudy with further wintry showers, especially to the southeast of London". -

Stuck on the slowest train ever. After being on the slowest bus ever. I'd better not miss the motor paced racing.

That was cold. Just pedalled back home after about 4 hours of getting gradually colder and colder. Met a few familiar faces, chatted, had chips, watched some top racing, particularly by Leader in the motor paced race and Forstermann showing us why he has those thighs. Now I'm warm at home.

Don't think I've ever been colder. My first time at a track and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Brilliant day's racing rewarded a punishing day for spectating. The motor-paced race was such good entertainment, what a comeback. Same with the scratch race, with the amazing breakaway that Tom Rotherham somehow just caught with an amazing burst right at the end.
Can't wait go get back on the track myself tomorrow, if my health hasn't been messed up too much by standing around today.

The cold made it devil take the hindmost for the spectators
But a happy afternoon's racing.

Cold and they ran out of coffee but it was worth it to see James Holland-Leader win the Paced event even if it was scripted.

Awesome picture, great rider.
But it was good to see Callum Skinner beat him to the keirin!
Been trying to keep away from this thread, but it looks like I might have to get down for it now I don't have to work...
