Fair enough. Gimmick or not, winders are cool (#hipstertax ?) and will save you 60secs whenever you have to reset the dates on all your perpetual calendar watches ;)
Le hehe/jokesinnitbruv I have a 17 jewel Seiko from 1971 that has only ever been serviced once, is rarely used, and keeps excellent time. Just by way of example I also have a 1964 Omega Constellation (565) that keeps great time and is rarely worn. Winders are gimmicks to extract monies from the unwary.
