Sorry for taking so long to post this.

Alacazam vs Doughballs
This game started with josh winning the charge, and for the first ten minutes he had close to free reign. Matt and maddie attacked and had some good breaks, but were unable to get the ball into the goal. Alakazam weren't so much breaking, but josh's shots were almost always on target and even with DT tending goal, he scored six unanswered goals!
Around the nine minute mark Jimmy came on for Doughballs, he basically spent his whole time on the pitch shadowing josh, occasionally leaving him alone to attack, but if jimmy didn't have the ball he was obviously on Josh duty! The effect on the game was startling, with matt and DT scoring three unanswered goals over the rest of the half! To be fair to Josh, the scores don't reflect the work he was putting in and he was still getting shots off, but he didn't have as much time on the ball or the freedom to find a good angle as he did in the first ten minutes.
The first half finished with a goal from John H, putting the half time score as 7-3.
I guess I can't start my description of the second half without mentioning that Josh didn't start for Alakazam, which I'm told was unusual. Despite Alakazam linking up well it was DT that opened up the scoring for the half, although Zoe replied with a goal in about a minute. Then there was a bit of a goal mouth scramble which resulted in a goal scored by Maddie. It was around this time there was a bit of miscommunication between the ref and score keeper, who shouted out that this put Doughballs one goal behind Alakazam when the score was actually 8-5! This caused Doughballs to play out of their skin and score three goals between DT and Matt... Equalising, although they were told they were winning!
Phil and John then scored, being told that the scores were now equal, then DT scoring thinking they were again in the lead.
Because of that Doughballs started to play a bit defensively, trying to keep their lead and Josh scored, it was around this point that I noticed the score keeping error, so I shouted out the correct scores. Heads visibly lowed (unsurprisingly) on Doughballs side when they realised that rather than being level they were behind.
Obviously I'm very sorry for my part in this as I feel it had a fairly large effect on the end of the game.
Still, the game carried on and Zoe and then Josh scored for Alakazam, giving themselves a 3 goal lead with only a little over the same number of minutes of the game left.
DT lead the charge to get back, and between him and Matt got it back to within two, but to do this they had to play all out and John H scored another goal with only a minute to go to effectively put it out of the Doughballs reach, DT scored on the buzzer too make sure that their score was a multiple of three like all the other games they played! :)

Having read back what I've written, I've totally over played Josh's part in alakazam's victory, all five members of Alakazam linked up well and attacked well and were all important parts of the victory.
