Didn't realise I'd been flamed over this so let me put my point across.
First of all - the prices included postage and packing as I don't have an agreement with Royal Mail like CRC etc. do so the GPX calipers were closer to £8 each.
1 - The Tektro calipers I had were matching pairs, not random rears which is all CRC had for sale. Ignoring their pricing, £13 + p&p for a pair was cheaper than eBay or any other online store. I only had 3 pairs to shift which I duly did on eBay. Yes, I wish I had put the GPX ones on there as well but I wanted all of my clutter gone so I tried a few forums.
2 - Re the GPX calipers - I had several of these well before the CRC stock appeared for under £3. I priced them at £8 each + p&p. I also offered to include a 35mm recessed nut which cost £1 so call that closer to £7. Somebody was selling them on here for £20 each (posted) so I thought £8 was more than reasonable for a NOS late 80's caliper when you consider how much NOS Dia Compe etc. can sell for.
If you must know, I paid a fiver each for them so I was lucky to 'profiteer' my way to a £2 gain on them. It hardly seems worth having negatives left against me for something so petty but that's the way it goes I guess.
None of them sold on here BTW.
There's not really much more to say on the subject and I don't want to argue the toss over two or three English pounds.
