^ Lolz...
I used to love that crispy, cardboard feel... Can't wear long pants once the temperature gets above 15ºc anymore... Roasting...
I actually planned to get married in a pair of brand new Studio D'Artisan SD-101XXs, when they were really heavyweight, and a quilted Denime Type 1 jacket... I was on a riverboat on the Mississippi river at the end of April '99, left the Denime at home and chucked a Lee 101J on instead... I was still hot as, bru... Daft...

Picked these Howies Kaizen Selvedge last week:
They're a bit leaky. Is the solution to soak them in slightly salted water?

Think I may have killed two pairs of my black Carhartt roper pants... Bit of a shame as they're the only trousers I wear... Any other suggestions for cheapish black selvage denim?
Toying with the idea of dyeing my APCs, got two pairs that I've never worn... They were cheap...

^^ Very cold, well salted is one way to go, some people use a vinegar rinse with good results too.
I would just wash them at 90 C and throw 'em in the dryer a few times.

I am six weeks into a pair of Albams which I like just fine. I was hoping to get well past the suggested six months before washing of any sort, but I have just been unsuccessful in dodging a torrent of baby sick. How to get the sick out but keep as much of the indigo in as possible? Soak in bath? Cold machine wash? Help, please.

While on the subject of Uniqlo, can anyone suggest a similar slim fit jean with a more tapered leg either raw or wahsed, at a sub £100 pricepoint. Research seems to keep leading me to Levis 511.

That's what two day light bulbs do; Louis Farrakhan would come out white under these bulbs.
Get some batteries in those milk bottles, what does the label say?

I've had two pair of Albams and washed one pair after 6 months and they stayed nice, kept a lot of colour etc. I wouldn't worry too much about washing them, or at least soaking

EMO thread
(or Supreme )
... left hand twill is softer, but yarn is weaker because of left hand twill, it loosens the yarn twist ( hence softer ) righthand twill weave tightens and keeps it that way !
..... bit of a short term gain methinks !...sorry.
