I normally free lock the front wheel to the frame even in shops. Always get the impression people probably think i'm a dick but story's like that make me do it

Crap. That's horrible for you and your mate. It's fairly recognisable, and like you said, you were on it sharpish, so fingers crossed mate.

I've whacked some deda cronenero low riders on my Mielec for maximum slave points. Going to wrap them in bright red microtex for maximum "now why did I think that would look good?" Points.

Ah man that sucks so much, good luck to him getting it back.

No disguising those dropouts.
Hope it's found soon.

what a pisser,on amore positive note mine showed up today and dispite all my hating on Robert, the frame is great, he managed to pack out the head tube, seat post, drops, etc, from transit damage, so my frame turned up unscathed and in one piece

after the hammering I got last time, thought it was only fair to applaud Robert's achievements, and try to be a little more balanced, yeah I thought of you Dork as the box arrived, dont get me wrong its still rough round the edges, but he has made the effort with extra padding in the areas I mentioned, I know I hate hearing of some arsehole nicking someone's pride and joy like that

Thanks Buckaroo, I just cant wait for the rest of my parts to turn up so I can ride this sucker

is that a mash copy? if the headtube is the same angle the rake on that fork is going to make for a very twitchy ride, combined with that short stem and riser combo..

Quick update. The bars feel great, the tape looks fucking terrible! I need to get some black soft touch as a matter of urgency!

Sweet.
Heres hoping everything fits past everything. I'm still not convinced mine will turn to the left.
Got it today, dropouts are pretty ugly (not the new ones, something else). Driveside looks pretty good, but the non-drive side is massive due to the disc mount.
Other than the dropouts, everything looks really good. The welds are nice and smooth and the offset rear wheel fits perfect. There's probably room for 100mm rims and 4.8" tires. BFL's on 80mm rims leave quite a lot of room.
The paint could be better (a little rough in a few places), but more than good enough for me.Seatpost and clamp fit fine (the seat tube was reamed after paint it seems).
Holzfeller cranks seem to fit with about 4-5mm of clearance on both sides (I'll have to ream and face the bb threads before installing, but looks good). The only thing that's really close is the chainring. I have a 32t on the outer position, and it looks like there'll be about 2-3mm of clearance.
So far I'm very pleased with the result. I'll post photos tomorrow when theres some light, it's too dark now.
It's interesting to see if they will do another fatbike so cheap with all the trouble they had.

This looks great man!

Some photos. Like I said, the dropouts are the same kind of dinosaur-head ones, that FFF has, but they don't look too bad with the massive tires.

Thanks itc, although apc's comment about twitchy handling has got me thinking about slamming a longer stem with bullhorns or drops, i`ll build her up as is, and see how she feels I guess, any ideas on this would be welcome as I said its my first build

^Looking good Arttu
Fuck! I hope that gets returned.
I for one will be a bit more cautious when leaving bikes inside of shops from now on.
