Fixed gear for people over forty?

There was a time , before tattoos , beards and skinny jeans when only men over 50 rode fixed on the road

Mind you, they had guards, sat on Brookes and had a black saddle bag...

This is one of those occasions when I can say "Oi, I resemble that remark" when I really don't mean "Oi, I resent that remark". Actually, the carradice and brooks have been retired for the time being, and I'm only in my late 40s.
