  • Well this really is a sad announcement but the time has come for me to say goodbye to the LPC and all things London Bike Polo.

It sounds a bit cliche but bike polo really did rescue me in times of sadness during a really tough part of my life. That was November 2008.
It was without doubt one of the best things that ever happened to me and my whole life has wonderfully revolved around it ever since. I've met the best people in the world and played some incredible tournaments.
And the real exciting thing is still those simple throw-ins we play. Many I've taken for granted but will always cherish.

I'm not leaving bike polo and will be trying my very hardest to create a new scene. But I'm really gonna miss you all.

So yeah, there's been a lot of great stuff happening for me, firstly in true 'keeping up with polo tends' style I am going to be a dad!
Chukkers Fukkerz might've been stuck at the bottom of the table but we were scoring our goals elsewhere. Officially most fertile team award.

And then I scored a very sweet job as head designer for Finsiterre. I'm very very chuffed about that. If you don't know them you should!

I will be leaving London at some point beginning of May for a new life in Cornwall. I will be working in a little shack on a cliff looking over the cove of St.Agnes!

Looking to live in Falmouth and hoping to start The Cosmic Sessions.
So if you know anyone over that way send them my details.
No polo is not an option!

So yeah that's it! Goodbye London I'll see you around!

  • Take care Toddy. When's the tap out?

  • Congrats Toddy!
Sad to see you go but this is awesome news. Falmouth (warmest place in GB!) is a great place to live and is surrounded by some the the best countryside in the UK, you're going to love it. I've always had a plan to move down that way one day so, yep, i'm pretty jealous right now.

  • Not London but congratulations again anyway and was good to see you before you go.

  • Super sad to see you go, but i have a massive smile for you because i know that you are incredibly lucky. Great wife, family and job, the cosmic gods have been kind to you and i'm honored to play with you at the cup. xxb

  • Really sad to see you go but so happy for the both of you. Did someone say polo retreat?

  • Sad to see you go Todd but you are a lucky ducky. Enjoy those new challenges that life is bringing you and good luck to you and the lovely lady (and bump) for the future! (And just when I thought there would be more kids bday cakes to make....) :)

  • Todd, you've brought such joy and style and shenanigans to London polo over the last years, you're going to be missed so much! Congratulations on the job, it sounds awesome.

  • Hey Todd, congrats on impending fatherhood!

You were one of the first people I met at Downham when I moved here in mid 2010 and were friendly and welcoming. London's loss is Falmouth's gain. I hope you enjoy your big change in scenery!

  • Congratulations on all the real life stuff Todd, exciting times are on the horizon for you. A sad loss for London polo but I'm already looking forward to Falmouth's first tournament.

  • Lots of love to you both and babi! All the best for the future! Its going to be an exciting one! Xx

  • Sad face

  • Happy face

  • Congrats on many levels, buddy! Very exciting! I'm sure there are many key mysteries to be solved in in Cornwall. But your services will be missed.

  • Bravo for the new job!! Great brand! And time to start surfing if you don't already...

  • Massive loss, one of London's friendliest faces... Sounds like an amazing adventure ahead, dude, may all your dreams come true... x

  • congrats on fatherhood & all the best in Cornwall mate

  • I'm not sad, you'll be closer to me, well, about the same distance, but in a better direction. It gives us an excuse to go to cornwall more. Falmouth is awesome.

We had some awesome times at polo man, downham session, and also some great road-trips. The two of us in convoy with Brendan and Aidan will stick in my mind forever. Hours of talking shit, listening to seasick steve and watching Brendan's tyres disintegrate in the middle of Belgium. All ending with the Apocalypse Now moment in Lake Geneva. Fucking great times, son.

  • Congratulations, Toddy! You are making the move for the best of reasons.

I am sorry that I won't be able to see you off, but look forward to seeing you give some flair to real life.

  • Best of luck Todd with your new job and your baby. It was always a pleasure to see you at polo.

Makes me remember some of the great times with you Toddy.

Downhill ghost racing, salutations to the stars after the East tourney, wheelie goal in Berlin, tattoos and rosemary, naked breakdancing and countless beard accessories.

  • he's so over the nakedness. I really tried in manchester ... nothing. :(

  • It was very cold.

  • That wheelie to recieve on to score in Berlin was an awesome moment!
