I really recommend them allowing you to not worry about fanatically trying to find an empty plug stocket at a control to charge the light/phone.
There's a cheaper version like the SP Dynamo SV-8 for £85 (hubs), instead of £170 for the Schmidt, I plan to have a Schmidt/Edelux and Hope Vision 1 combine for additional vision.
Don't forget wider rims too, very important for lower pressure and performance.
