i wrapped a bike already, amateur effort but thought the result was pretty encouraging. Used a hairdryer and a scalpel, took me a whole weekend but was good fun.
pros:
— keeps the original paint intact, if you're careful
— if one area is scratched, you can just replace that panel
— it's quite easy to play with designs, if that's your thing
cons:
— lugs can be done with a bit of patience, but braze-ons and dropouts are almost a guaranteed no-no
— colours are somewhat limited (that being said, most of the colours look great on vinyl)
