seeing as I'm keeping this, I want to slightly add to the stopping power.

would these be a crime?

or should I get better pads/shoes for the Athena brakes? reccomendations?

the old style pads aren't cutting the mustard.

modern veloce is a very nice GS indeed, if you upgraded totally you'd really notice the difference, not just in brake performance.

or you could get a 5 year + old chorus 10sp GS from teh bay, that's what i put on the Look and it rides like a dream.
