Well, I was communicating with Robert over email last night and I sent payment this morning with a final confirmation of my order details ~ Not sure if he thinks I want a different headtube to what I actually want.
I asked for an estimate on a current time scale for build and shipping, he came back with approx 5 weeks.
I'm not in a rush for this frame and the idea is that I can purchase components over the coming months and have it ready for the summer... so if it turns out to be 8-12 weeks, then so be it.
That being said, if I was in a rush or really wanted to get my hands on the frame, then I would certainly be really pissed off if my 5 week wait turned in to 12+ months.
The possibility of a dented headtube in transit concerns me as well.
