The scam described on the first post was recently attempted on me, with a bed which they fucking collected themselves in a van. Auction ended they paid immediately through paypal and arranged to collect.
All smiles and thanks for giving them a bargain etc
Few days later they attempted charge back as item not as described, sold though my wifes account she didn't read emails from ebay and only realised when she tried to pay for something.
Ebay were pretty good to be honest, as my wife had missed the initial emails I thought the money was lost.
We disputed the reversal and contacted ebay who gave the buyer a deadline to return the item (at their cost) or we were paid the cash. He didn't respond so we got the cash.
