if you can ride up a hill, fix a puncture, and get around 30 miles without having a heart attack, TNRC is a lovely and friendly way to spend an evening. there are some strong riders, but people wait for people and I've never seen anyone left behind.
Besides, we will be down on greek Adonis types, what with Ben out of the country. (Subsequently, there may also be less female company this year).
if you dont ride that far regularly then, bring something to eat, especially if you usually eat early and will be skipping dinner. a few muesli bars are a good option.
otherwise, come along and meet some nice people for a pleasant ride.
Hah thanks, that is reassuring! I'm just waiting on my new bike and then getting used to it really... 30 miles is an unknown quantity but I'd like to think riding every day would help.
