H'okay, purchased this little beauty of a 501 Claud Butler frame some months ago from a friend, for the grand sum of 500 pennies. This thread will follow it's various guises through the times.
The plan was never to build a porn worthy bike (ha, like polishing a turn with a 501 frame) but just something that no matter how many things I have to sell to fund my new business or how poor I am, something that's so cheap I simply have no reason to sell it. Well, this is that bike.
The bike rides incredibly well considering how it looks. Everything has been stripped, cleaned and re-lubed. The wheels are perfectly tru and everything runs very smooth. I'll never clean this bike, just maintain the moving components. In the simplest form, it's a beater..
Frame + forks: £5
Shimano 600 BB: £3
Turbo saddle: £3
SR seatpost: £free
Miche on mavic MA2: £3 Stolen from my bridgestone Miche pistard
Espresso chainset: £17
KMC chain: £4
Genetic stem: £15
System-ex bars: £10
= £60
This bike is a bit of fun and I'll be swapping and changing parts all the time!

Not 100% sure if it's real, seen quite a few NJS stamps, but who is anyone to say?
