  • hey there,

there are a lot of bike shops in Europe that put their names on pretty common frames, usually some crappy Italian name and people think it's something special...
sell them for a Little more, or just to show off like they make their own bikes..

when i google 'Albertini cycling' the first thing that pops up is the Ridley dealer page..
now i don't have the time to go through all of their dealers.. but i immediately thought of the Ridley oval.. and for as far as i can see good details, it has some similarities of an older ridley oval frame..

i personally think this would be an awesome bargain.. and if it doesn't fit your need you can probably get your money back through selling the parts individually or just sell it here..

anyone, please correct me if i'm wrong

    cheers and good luck!

  • Thank you for this post exactly what I was looking for.

The google searches I have done have come up with the same. This is going to be for training purposes and fits exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again for the advice I really appreciate it.

    Cheers!!!

  • if you want to be 100% sure:

check for grooves on the downtube..seem to be there, but not very clear because of darker colors..

the rear fork makes a slight bend, but the one above is probably far more validating

  • The rear fork is exactly what I was looking at but I was looking at road bike as I thought this may have been some kind of own build. On the photos I have looked at it looks like it has some grooves running down the top of the downtube. This is what I need so I can make an informed decision but I think I have my mind set on this anyway.

    This is top notch advice!

Thank you and I will let you know how I get along.
