This is very good. The whole hipster hater-go-round hand wringing gentrification thing is getting so twisted and self referentially meta it's hard to know where to stand on it these days. As a general rule I'm opting for the not giving a fuck option.

On a whim and largely though a low maintenence grooming regime I recently sprouted a bit of a moustache. I have been enjoying giving it the occasional twiddle. I like how it looks. I've been subject to a near constant barrage of "hipster" accusations. Once I think I would have been at pains to point out my carefully thought out reasons why I was exempt and the accusations were spurious (it occurs to me now that to deny hipsterdom is by definition, hipster). These days though, I just sort of shrug and think... fuck it. Yeah why not?

It's a bit like when Adam Buxton got called a "trendy art fag" in a bottom half comment and responded (with an air of flattered satisfaction) "i've never been called *trendy *before".
