Very low on ladies I see ( not counting Indra )
tricitybendix has some off road rides planned on the ladies forum. http://www.lfgss.com/thread99571.html
Would be nice to see a few more girls on these though.

Is it the legs, it's my legs isn't it.

I told my other half that i'd given up trying to convince her to come out on the MTB (much more of a roadie unfortunately) and it seems that she's more interested in trying it now. Typical!

Will she be a beginner then?
That'll be at least one for you starter sessions Pete.

starter sessions.
I'm quite serious about doing a couple of these. I think a lot of people percieve off road riding as being hard. It can be, but some of the wide flat(ish) tracks running through the forest are perfectly suitable for people learning to ride a bike.
I'm not specifically aiming these at women btw.

This picture makes me happy that I decided to keep my cross bike, and build it back up for off-road.
When is the next trip to Epping Forest?
So Dammit, can I add you to..

I didn't think everybody would come on the same day :-/
Besides, you need to factor in the lfgss 30-35% dropout rate.

Might be fun if we did :)

I'm dropping myself off the list (number 15 spot). I had a stupid accident some weeks ago where I jolted my back (missed my footing at a kerb of all the ridiculous things to do) and I still can't cycle more than about 50 yards or walk more than about a mile at present. It will be a while until I'm up to riding - off road or otherwise. Have fun!

Sorry to hear that mate. There will be other rides though.
Hope your back gets better soon!

Last weeks of may? This is good news, as I may well be able to attend.

Good man! Closer to the time I'll try and work out what times different people are available.
Morning, afternoon, evening, weekend. That sort of thing.

Would love to get back on a MTB, last time out (2 yrs ago) broke my arm on a freeride run where I was well outta my comfort zone in Italy! Epping will be a nice teaser back into the saddle of my Charge Duster hardtail.

Welcome aboard VVV. Epping Forest is a great place to slowly build your confidence back up again.
Good man Jake. Mtb not strictly necessary. A cross bike will do just fine too.

New dates
Due to more work stuff than I'd originally planned, the rides will now be from Saturday 25th May - Sunday 9th June.
There will still be at least three weekend rides. For those of you that work weekends, there will be plenty of opportunities for weekday rides too.

• #172
That actually works better for me. Get-in.

^ Howard, are you by any chance the same Howard that me and Alexis from LMNH met up with at Epping forest a good few months back?
At that point I would've been riding this:

Precisely. SSCX ftw. Pompino, anyway.
Supposed to be around May.
