Reviving this thread: I'm looking to build my first bike, and am looking to find/use/restore a path racer or similar frame. I suppose that the best bet would be the Bay (and quite a few sellers seem to be based in London, which helps), but can any of you give my some help judging what sort of frames are suitable for path racer geometry, and would allow me to run larger wheels?
Any tips on judging frame sizes with the more relaxed geometry, if I find a frame. I'm about 6', with just over a 32" inside leg. I know the overall size depends on a lot of things, but I'm looking to use 28"/700c, and I hoped that some of you might have some experience on this sort of build.
