For Sale: Nice Mixte Ladies Frame.

  • Hi, Im offerring this frame to you lot which has been lying round back of the small lbs I work at for probably 20 years.

They have loads of old bits to clear out (hidden in boxes of dusty tat!) so I thought Id give them a helping hand aswell as giving you lot first refusal before ebay. If you have the patience I may be able to dig out some parts to suit the frame.

Anyhow, this is a used frame which was newly enamel coated in a burgundy/red (darker than the picture would suggest) and stuck in storage. It is straight & sound, but obviously has a tiny bit of surface rust in bb/steerer from storage. Any marks you can see it mostly dust. The overexposed picture really is making it look dirty and bright red! Ill clean it all up and clear the threads if you like. There is a fixed cup fitted to the frame.

The sizing is 56cm effective top tube and about 52cm seat tube (C2C) Bear in mind that this would suit a wider range of riders compared to a 56cm road racing frame as it is ideall setup with sit up & beg/moustache handlebars.

There are mudguard eyes, rack fittings, pump pegs and a curios mount between the twin top tubes. Possibly for a dress guard?

Ive stuck a pair of 27" wheels in it to give a better idea of the shape & size. Seat tube diameter is something small, 24mm I think. Wheel spacing is standard.

    Im after say... £50 posted?

  • ms. chris bought this from DFP in early 2012 with the intention of building it up as an easier bike to ride if she got pregnant. The build never happened, so now we need to clear it out. It hasnt been touched since it arrived.

Pickup from SE5. Yours for 50 quid, open to offers.

  • Hi, I'm 168cm tall... do you think the frame would fit? Is shipping to Manchester possible? If yes, any idea what it would cost? Many thanks!

  • The frame would fit you. Shipping not possible as we dont have anything to ship it in.
