How to prep a frame for bead blasting ?

Considering sending my brand-new Pompino frame to the local blasters.
They came recommended by my LBS, but they said I'd probably have to take care of all the masking myself.
I'll double-check with the blasters before doing it, but wanted to be prepared.

• For the BB shell, I'm guessing it's best to stuff it and mask it, rather than just shoving an old BB in there?
  
• For the threaded rack and mudguard eyes/mounts, I was thinking of partly inserting bolts into each of them and then masking the exposed bolt thread & bolt head. Good idea or not?
  
• Guessing I'd need to stuff & mask the head tube & seat tube?
  
  

Any other top tips would be most welcome.
