• Hi there, sad times, but I've decided to pass this on.

Bought the frame from Ndeipi last July, built it up, loved it, rode it (dry miles only), very sad to see it go. Truth is I don't have a need for two road bikes, and therefore I'm looking at building something a little more modern, something I'll be a little less precious about and something that I won't be reticent to ride in all types of weather. This just doesn't get ridden as much as it should.

Needless to say, the bike is in minty-fresh condition, come and see for yourself. Everything is freshly cleaned and perfectly functional, bike has been on the road once since I cleaned it a few weeks ago.

There was a small amount of surface rust on two of the toptube cable guides when I got the frameset, but I cleaned it up and painted over it with colour-matched nail-varnish, you really can't tell. Oh, and a tiny amount of wheel rub on the rear of the seattube, from when I was using non-cerrated skewers and the wheel slipped due to the old skewers (replaced since)

Everything on the bike was either new, NOS or in mint condition and still is in excellent condition, I have listed what was what below.

I know spatr bars are not to everyone's taste, so if you prefer to use more classic handlebars, and have some that you want on the bike, I'm more than happy to install and rewrap everything. They are bloody comfortable though!

    Anyway, on to the specs:

    **Frameset:

    Brian Rourke 90's in Reynolds 653 frame/forks

    Goodridge brake & gear outers
    Campagnolo 750ml water bottle
Elite Ciussi Aluminium Bottle Cage Silver
    No pedals included

I only have the time/facilities to post small items, so that assumes that I have split and there are only small items left.

Priority will go to those that have interest in the full build.

As usual cash>dibs and local London collection>postage

    Thanks a lot!

    Apollo

  • I love this bike. Such a shame you're selling.

  • lovely bike Apollo, hope you dont need to split but if you do I could be interested in groupset and wheels pending price etc

  • This was a labour of love, whyyyy? :'(

    Such a nice build man

  • yes what a stunning bike dont do it ! Ive sold bikes in the past when ive been skint and totally regreted it .Its my size too dont get me wrong its worth every penny but most people only buy and split down unless you have a specific buyer of our height then its going to be difficult to sell at that price and youd have to be insane or in trouble with the local mafia to sell it cheaper unless its urgent ,rethink summers coming all the best .

  • Lovely lovely bike

  • I can confirm that this groupset is magnificent

  • Shame your selling, it's a lovely bike man! Good luck anyway. I'm looking for that exact Seatpost, bear me in mind if you split dude.

  • almost as bad as JB (but not actually as bad)

  • Rather nice.

  • Ah man, I've always loved this bike! Hope it stays within the forum.

  • Thanks for all the comments, she is a beaut indeed.
Having slept on it, I'm slightly more reluctant to sell.
    Decisions decisions...

  • Hi,
As the groupset and wheels are dibbed I'd like to dibs the frameset, stem and bars etc in case you you do split. Cheers.

  • Noooooo!!
I sense the inner debate is endless...... You love this bike Squire. Are you absolutely sure? Really really? Dude........

  • Beautiful! And just my size...

  • Thanks for all the comments, she is a beaut indeed.
Having slept on it, I'm slightly more reluctant to sell.

Just ride it until you don't care so much about the wear!

  • Hi all,

Apologies to dibsers and everyone that has shown interest, but I've decided that I just can't sell this bike.

  • This is the right decision

  • ride the hell out of it !
