  • Hey everybody,

I'm releasing this very very soon (within the next two weeks).

I'm just posting it up here because I've decided to do a little presale to make sure everything gets going properly.

It'd be a situation where you'd preorder, and then the bag will be made and dispatched within two weeks, here's the blurb:

This bag is something I’ve been excited to show you all for such a long time now. It’s an absolute workhorse of a bag. Made from the toughest stuff around, designed to accept whatever you want to throw at it.

Whether you’re taking it on a day hike, a lightweight overnight camp or on the bike, it works great.

    • Side compression straps
    • Deep side pockets (fits most U-Locks)
    • Covered zippered pouch on front
    • Covered zippered pouch in top flap
    • Grab handle
    • 25mm Waist Belt attach (belt to be on sale not long after)
    • Chest/Sternum strap (not currently pictured)
    • Cinch liner at top
    • Light loop on front
    • Full padded back and shoulders, with pouch attachments on strap.
    • Avail in coyote brown or black
    • Measures approx 55x28x17

It's going to be 100 pounds on the dot, and as an incentive for you preorder people, I'm going to include a pouch or some straps of your choice.

PM me for further details, this is a very limited presale, but there will of course be many more available once it is released.

    Thanks guys/gals

Your work is great dude, really impressive.
Trying to convince my wife why I'd need a 6th bag will be a task.

  • going by the messenger bag, this will be mint and great price...

  • Too kind apollo! the presale is starting to fill, another incentive is that the potentially free pouch your bag could come with (on the presale), actually kinda fits onto the outside of the bag through the lock holster, cool feature i only discovered this morning.

where have you been when i was desperately looking for a new backpack 2 weeks ago...

    rad!

  • arkiv much?

  • not really.

  • i meant it in a good way :P i.e. i'd buy this instead of overpriced MW Arkiv any day

  • Yeah i thought that too when I popped it on there! Just a happy coincidence.

Conversely, you can't lash external loads onto the arkiv rail system!

  • awesome price. Very tempted.

  • The presale is pretty much full at this point

However the good news is that there's no real time to wait for this bag to come out, it's going to be pretty much dead on two weeks from now!

Daysack now avail! also with some special order colours.

  • did anyone get one of the presales and have thoughts / review of the backpack? they look pretty decent......

  • the presales are just about to go out, so no one has had a feel quite yet, but im sure they will have something to say come next week!

  • Well well well. I'm out at breakfast this morning and arrive home to a backpack shaped parcel waiting for me. I've been itching for this to arrive ever since I was fortunate enough to snake in on the preorder. The wait was well worth it. It's a beautifully designed and well constructed piece of kit. The size is ideal, the pockets and detail are all really useful - bigxtop hip pouches (and probably others I should imagine) can be threaded onto the straps on the front of the bag giving a bit of extra storage space. The padding is comfortable and well placed, meaning the bag doesn't ride up awkwardly when it's a light load, yet remains comfortable when it's jammed full of stuff. Buy one of these and support independently hand made British craftsmanship. You won't regret it.

  • Ahh I ordered a camo one already so excited they look awesome!

Indeed the camo one wasn't up for pre-order! You're right it looks sweet. Just test rode the back to sainsburys and back. Filled the bag full of food and drink and it was still dead comfy.

  • how is it terms of doing shoulder checks?

  • It's good. The pack isn't too wide so it doesn't obstruct view, nor does it come up too high. Seems to fit the back pretty perfectly.

  • Not got the cash atm but it's on my wishlist.

Comes alive when it's got stuff in it doesn't it? I get bummed out sending out these empty flat backpacks, I always wish the people recieving them could have a first sight of them stuffed full of gear, but that's not economical - or very 'green'!

  • Indeed! Even when it was stuffed with £30 of sainsburys goods, it didn't hinder my over the shoulder view. But it took all the shopping and didn't it lose shape and start poking into the back.
