what a joke, places taken within one day of going up! where did all these people hear about it? also (bit cheeky i know) but whats the issue with just turning up and riding anyway seeing as tho it's a free event?

i believe it was mentioned on their twitter feed

similar issues as to black riding the Tweed Run, it is a bit like gate crashing someone's party

the event is organised and insured for a certain number of people, facilities laid on to cater for their needs. it is a nice event laid on free, but if loads of people turn up without registration it means that future ones may be put in jeopardy, or they would need to be charged for.
