I have some good training climbs locally, and I'm the first person to get outside, rather than train indoors. Regardless of weather. Done plenty of riding and running at -10C and below, this winter.
But I also have kids. So cant always get outside of an evening.
My instinct, for lack of knowledge, agrees with TW2's and skinny's point regarding steady state training too.
