Isn't Saturday 30th some kind of holy day? I don't care, I'd rather ride round in circles.

Easter Saturday is a bit of a nothing day, isn't it? You eat hot cross buns the day before and loads of chocolate the day after. All the more reason to ride round in circles in between, I would've thought.

Looks sick vince.

• #2560
Those bars.
-
• #2561
I never really understood them to be honest, someone explain?
-
• #2562
^^this
also..bars cost more than your wheels - fail.
-
• #2563
Wheels and cranks put together I think.
-
• #2564
I never really understood them to be honest, someone explain?
they are aerodynamic and allow several vaguely cheat-y hand positions..
-
• #2565
Hardly gonna make a noticeable difference with cheap wheels and cranks though?
-
• #2566
exactly - tart's handbag :)
-
• #2567
I've gone the other route - cheap everything!
-
• #2568
I've gone for decent parts that I got at good prices.
Yes y'all have to tolerate my seta at the track. -
• #2570
Does look like they're illegal, way over the 5cm tolerance.

Yup, almost impossible to set up Sphincters to fit with in the rules. Though the "The area of the point of support of the hands on the handlebars is defined by the diagram below:" makes it a little ambiguous (you could maybe argue the point of support falls within the box, even if the entire bar doesn't). Doubt you'd ever get picked up on it unless you race anything big.

Those bars are great for 25 laps races, shit for sprint.
I'm selling my other track bars (Easton EC90 carbon) here if anyone is interested:http://www.lfgss.com/thread102952.html
I've changed the chainring to a 49T this year, it should make ALL the difference...

You could argue but the UCI interpret the rules as the structure which supports the hands fitting within that area.
I have it on good authority that the UCI will be bringing their testing jig to the LFGSS track 'day' in 2013. -

How do the Novice track sessions compare to the youth ones?
-
• #2575
Standard lower, age higher
I assume this is because the inner track isnt complete yet? Shame
