It's not really cyclable on a polo gear after a tournament and polocat and session down the pub. Bristol is a bit rubbish for campsites, did you try the Caravan club on Baltic Wharf?
I see that UWE students will be on vacation from the 15th to the 26th. Maybe there's some space in the halls? If only there were someone "on the inside"...
