And i have satisfied myself by riding on a day with wind and rain warnings...

That risers aren't the only satisfactory bar for a wet day?

Damn right skrtluv... Sometimes the lines of logic and personal fulfilment don't cross. That's what I love about this thread.

I demand clarification
sorethroat correctly quotes the case of Stephen Milligan as an example of "stepping beyond logic to achieve satisfaction" (he strangled himself in an auto-erotic asphyxiation). Skrtluv correctly seeks to distance himself from the Major cabinet of the early 90's (as any rational individual would).
So why, pray tell, is so much of the remainder of the thread dedicated to the memory of Spike Milligan, who IIRC was called Terry and lived outside the bounds of logic, but achieved apparently little satisfaction as a result.
I've become quite comfortable in skrtluv's alternative reality of bizarre metaphysical explanations for regular handlebar, fork and front wheel changes, but this simple confusion of Stephen/Spike has pushed me too far - I demand a return to magicalfixierealism

Risers will be finding their way back onto the norco TT to address slippage issues... still wet but fortunately not cold today.
but...?
