@Brun, felt a bit chilly and strenuous on the rides home this year, didn't dare to face the cold/windy/wet ride uphill, but, since then mon velo has been fixed/serviced/revitalised via Fitzrovia Bicycles; seems that my rear brakes were a little too close to the rims (perhaps even rubbing at times) - so bicycle seems more ridable now (!)
