• SOLD. Thanks guys.

Edit: dropped my trade price and willing to sell (still for a lot less than its value. I'd like to pass on a bit of the bargain and also pay for some other stuff.

Looking to trade this ridiculously nice Airplane/Carbon frame and forks, made for 'Team Cerati' which is an Italian shop team.
It's worth a fair bit, but because I got a good deal for it I'd rather trade it for something than sell it for what it's worth (those full carbon Carve forks are a good £90 on their own).

The main triangle is Columbus Airplane and the stays and forks are full carbon. It weighs around 1.3KG...

It's an absolutely gorgeous frame but just too short for me. Geometry is 54.5 ST ctc and 57 TT ctc.

It's pictured built up with a Veloce/Mirage groupset and brand new (never touched the road) Khamsins. I estimate the value of the build as it is at around £550, I'd trade the frame, forks, Record headset and Chorus Italian BB for something around the £250 -300 mark I reckon.

I'm looking for a set of Mavic Ellipses, and always on the hunt for 7600/Open CD wheels but if you want the frame and have something then we can talk.

As I said, I got this for a steal, and am not really looking to sell for that much. I also don't feel comfortable selling it for what it's worth on here, but trading seems like a happy medium.

You get something possibly worth more than what you're trading, I get a good deal, but for something that I can actually use - everyone wins.

  • Great idea.

'Spirit of the Forum' gold award.

Sorry it's too small for me!

  • Cheers man, seems fair enough to me and if it doesn't go then I reckon it'll go to the bay.

  • Right bump. Lowering my expectations somewhat.
£200 trade (56cm steel, mavic ellipse or DA wheel/s, DA 7600 cranks) or £165 cash and I'll make a £20 forum donation.

  • Forgot to delete this trade post, that's why! The eBay frame is mine. If you check the completed listings you'll also see my eBay price for those Pista wheels, that just sold here for £130. Don't I treat you guys well, eh?

Trade still stands, but does anyone want it for £150 including £20 to forum? I've just had an offer of £140 on eBay.

  • Letting it go on eBay for that price seems criminal. £150 plus postage sounds good, or maybe we could work out a trade for my Cotic Roadrat frame. PM me

  • Yeah, tbh if it was a 54 square i'd have snapped this up even at £165

  • SOLD! To the man in Norwich!
