I'm thinking XL is going to be too big, I normally ride a 59 top tube....

Apologies for the resurrection of this thread as I assume the bike has sold in the past two years, but I cant start a new one at the moment. Im contemplating purchasing one of the later Casseroll (Canti Brake) framesets for some all day rides and wondered if there are any owners out there with feedback, good or bad before i take the plunge.

Have you considered a Surly Crosscheck instead? Versatile and well regarded all rounders. Oh, and I've got one for sale! http://www.lfgss.com/thread102298.html

I have indeed, and I pondered over your frame for a while last night, while the price is attractive I think it would be too big... Looking at a 58cm frame preferably.
For sale my loved but little used Salsa frame and forks, including cane creek s3 headset.
The largest size of the now outdated muted gold colour, definitely nicer than the 2011 ones with the non-straight fork blades. This has horizontal dropouts and a mech hanger and is in good condition. The photos show the scratches I could find, it needs a clean too. The black mark on the headtube started to wipe off, it isn't a dirty big scratch!
I'm looking for £200. I also have the long drop caliper brakes you'll need and guards and bars, all in the photos for sale. 25 for the brakes, 15 for the guards, 10 for the bars. I need the other bits.
