Joe. That wasn't necessary.
I suspect that Ferguson is simply trying to wind up Benitez for the replay. He must be disappointed that his reserves couldn't hold onto a two goal lead but they are reserves and will be rested for the next match.

Well what a way to give away the points there...
Two sloppy defensive errors and Liverpool sneak the win.
Suarez is a chippy little player isn't he. Looking to gain an advantage wherever he can, and get the opposition so mad they make mistakes get booked or possibly sent off.. But the finish for the first goal was exquisite..We fought back and if we score that third from Siggurdson, when it hit the post, we're away and clear. Walker whose been better recently gifts them a second, even though Lloris was at fault as well. That's possibly the first mistake I've seen from him when he's come off his line. Downing keeps his nerve, and then Defoe miskicking and BAE bundling over a player who he didn't need to..
Thats three points given away. But still think Vertonghen was v.good, Siggurdson has come back into form, and Dembele and Parker had a top notch game, from getting back level to the two defensive errors we were well on top, making chances and bossing the game. Pretty sure Lloris won't make another error like that again, and I wonder what the team will look like against Inter. Will AVB rotate, or keep it pretty much the same, opportunities for players to make a case for inclusion in the first team.
Then have Fulham (h) Swansea (a), everton (h), chelsea (a), man city (h) before we get into the meat of the relegation battle. Those five games right there are going to define how we do, especially the Chelsea and Man City ones...
Upset but we had a fantastic run undefeated, and now its time to start another run..

I sincerely hope those abusive Chelsea fans that travelled to Old Trafford send Rafael Benitez a letter of apology. How they have the nerve to continually abuse the man for doing his job - and doing it absolutely brilliantly against Manchester United - is beyond me. It was a match that former boss Roberto Di Matteo might well have lost. To bring on John Obi Mikel and allow Ramires to do what he does best - bomb forward - at such a crucial stage in the game was the action of a manager who knows exactly what is required at precisely the right time. Get over yourselves Chelsea fans and get behind the team. You might win the FA Cup.

Yep
But my God he must be so annoying to play against. he seeks to gain an advantage on every single action he makes on the pitch. Whether it is a sneaky little kick or a patronising head rub. It's just constant. -

Mike. We went 2-0 down to ManU reserves. We pulled it back, just, by bringing on a player who should have been on all the time. We should never have conceded those goals. It was a poor performance against the weakest side ManU have fielded this season. That Ferguson should put out such a side just shows the contempt that he has for TFSW. RDM knocked ManU out of the League Cup.

the angled runs to get in behind the defences
his persistance
his ability to take foul after foul without " too much " complainingyup he must be a nightmare to play against
and yes if suggurdson had of scored that one that hit the post we would have been dead and buried no coming back from 3-1

Pisti can you clear something up for me, were your mob booing Fellani or the decision to take him off?

Dicki's becoming the new agent provocateur in chief...
Lots of provocative statements rolled up within the embrace of praising his team.
Suarez is a handfull for any team, and with more belief and quality in the rest of the team becomes even more dangerous as he's not having to do it singlehandedly, as to concentrate solely on him is to let the other players hurt you...
But he is playing on the very edge of acceptable/legal play, and if he did leave Liverpool I wonder how many managers in the premiership would accept the level of media scrutiny that comes with him being in the side and the vehemence of distate for his actions from opposing teams/fans. Will be interesting to see if he's with Liverpool come the beginning of next season.
Roll on the rumours of big teams being in for him.

I have a feeling he will stay with us next season and if we fail to QF for Champions League then he will be off

@ MikeC,
surprised that on his current form Bale is linked to any and every big money club, we all know the usual transfer suspects, but is in a team which is in a strong position (fingers crossed) to have a place in the CL (automatic or qualifying) for next season, which is one BIG reason against moving. Yet Suarez is having as good a spell/season and despite their recent move up the table, Liverpool are only an outside bet to get into the CL places, and yet despite the odd Bayern rumour there aren't as many articles practically giving him to other clubs, a'la Bale..
Surely someone will want his chippiness in their CL team?

But he is a dick.
I fucking hate Liverpool FC. -

spurs players knew how to get him riled
they went ahead and did it
whats the difference between suarez getting nips and kicks and nipping and kicking himself
one law for one... plus he was constantly having his shirt tugged in the box
i applaud him for keeping his temper under control as much as he did
bale was lucky to walk away with two complete ears ! -
