A concours rebuild? Not a top of the range model, so probably not from that point of view.
As a hack/commuter? Why not?
I would want to pay less than £100.

Was planning on using it as a commuter.Unsure though since I've already got an old trek t400 that I use as everyday bike and found for 90€ last year. Unfortunately this one has a slight problem with the bearings in the front wheel (and I'm not too fond of the colour :) )
So I was considering selling it off again , but I don't know how much better the raleigh would be... -

Picked up that Bob Jackson Lo Pro, bend is much less noticeable in real life.
All welds look good too.

So I was considering selling it off again , but I don't know how much better the raleigh would be...I would say a decent price would be sub €50. The components aren't great and the frame is plain 531. The parts might not have much resale value if you were considering selling to recoup costs of conversion.
