PDW have a great looking mudguard called the Full Metal Fenders at a very reasonable 454g
Look like a 21st Century version of the Salmon, especially when it look like it got enough to cover the side as well as being long enough to keep your feet/chainset dry.
Review suggested that you can fit a low volume 25c on it despite advertised as a 23c mudguards.
