ciq! I did a very suspect and laborious u-turn and then the lights changed so I did another one, basically rode in a circle across 4 lanes of traffic and buses and shit in order to ascertain that I still wan't sure if it was you. Checking on here was much easier

Oddly, despite onanism's modern meaning, Onan didn't masturbate in the bible. He spilled his seed on the ground, yes, which is where the issue comes from, but IIRC this came from pulling out (Catholics take note) because he didn't want to impregnate Tamar (something to do with bizarre parentage laws at the time - the child would not have been his but instead her former husband/his late brother's based on the recency of his death). Onan showed disrespect for his dead brother, and for God, by wasting his seed.

This doesn't preclude him from being a wanker though.

They throw you a bit until you clock what they are. I saw a woman riding one up Pentonville once and as I was approaching it looked like she was on a Boris bike or dutch town bike, and pedalling a cadence that would have equated to about 5mph. Couldn't work out why I was having such a hard time overtaking until I realised she was Cancellara-ing up the hill.

Which reminds me, my younger son informed me earlier this week that I share a birthday with Cancellara. But that I'm about 50% older than him.

I started feeling old when Becker won Wimbledon and I realised he was younger than me. Now I feel properly old - next it'll be someone telling me that I'm older than Sean Yates.

One of the riders had torn his sidewall along the beading. He had forgotten his credit card so I had to take him to a shop and buy him a tyre and tube so he could get home.
