I don't really care if my chainline's out by a couple of mm but I'd quite like Goldtecs anyway and it's a bonus that it would sort that problem. I'd need custom drilling though for carbon rims.
A little research suggests that I really shouldn't space the bb on omniums but it may be technically possible, so I will probably try it and if it doesn't work I'll hit the chainstay with a big hammer.
Actually I forgot but I'm waiting on a reply to a PM about a third option, it won't look as good tho and that's the most important thing obvs...
