Pooties dearest, I can lend you my Carradice Audax saddlebag to see if it fit.
I also have a fairly short bagman rack with quick release that'll serve as an indicator of whether you'll be able to fit a regular saddlebag on it or not.
Failing that, time to move over to the 650 crowd...
