As the winter draws to a close it's time to get my pretty summer bike back on the streets, so Wally is up for sale.
Wally's an Eclipse roadbike, he's made of Tange 900 double butted ChroMo which, when combined with 12 Shimano indexed gears, makes him awesome. He's 52cm C-C which I though was larger 'cos he fits me nicely with the saddle in the position shown (I'm 5'9") and with the saddle dropped just fits my GF (She's 5'4") with workmanlike lugs.
Most importantly, Wally's saddle. It's comfy and seems to be utterly theft resistant, I can't imagine why.
Adding to the theft-resistance is his chipped and shoddy paintwork, it doesn't show too well in the pics, but believe me, it's in none too pretty condition. There is also a small ding in the top tube that I struggled to get a decent pic of, but here it is with my groin for size comparison purposes.
Aside from his looks, Wally is reliable, fairly quick, smooth and quiet. If you want to meet him then just let me know, I'm in Potters Bar but could meet you at Kings Cross if you can't make it north.
